Time To Get Back To Work
I just got back from a two week trip to Europe and this is me this morning as I contemplate what projects I want to work on in the coming weeks. My mind is still a blank and a bit fuzzy as I try to adjust to the 8 hour time difference between Utah and the Netherlands so here's hoping that the gears start turning, ideas start flowing, and that Blog To Do list starts growing! Come on brain...it's time to get out of vacation mode and get back to work! Go to shotbox.me to learn m

Tissue Paper Corsage
Mother's Day is just around the corner and here is a project that is fun to make and so easy to do that dad and the kids, an older sibling and the younger kids, or anyone responsible enough to handle a hot glue gun safely, can make for mom. Gather your supplies and let's get started! Tissue Paper Corsage Supplies Hot Glue Gun 4"x4" Square of Yellow Tissue Paper 1-2 5" Wide Strips of Purple Tissue Paper, Folded Into 1/3rds 2 1/2" Circle (cut from purple cardstock) 12" Length o

Washi Tape Cards
I have had this Washi Tape for some time and I have never really known what to do with it. I am so used to using scraps of paper when I make cards that it never occurred to me that I could make a card out of tape! A quick Google search revealed to me that the possibilities are endless and I was inspired to give the tape a try. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to use! All I needed was an 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of white cardstock, folded in half to create my card base,

Cinco de Mayo Wallpaper
Cinco de Mayo is right around the corner so be sure to stock up on your chips and salsa, margarita mixers, taco ingredients, or whatever you like to have on hand to celebrate this festive day! Maybe you prefer to go out for drinks and dinner. That's fine too! Here's a fun background/wallpaper/cover photo to help get you in the mood! Go to shotbox.me to learn more about the SHOTBOX. Paper Plate Easter Basket
If you need a last minute Easter Basket and you have a paper plate and a few other basic supplies in the house, here is a quick and easy option for you. Simply take your paper plate and, using a ruler, draw four 2 inch lines from the edge of the plate towards the center. I found that if I lined the ruler up so that it intersects across the edge of the inner circle (as highlighted in yellow in the picture below), this gave me a good sized basket. Make sure your lines are paral

Mossy Easter Bunny Wall Art
I am loving this Mossy Easter Bunny Wall Art! For a non-artistic person, such as myself, this was an easy to make project that does not require a steady hand, crazy skills or large amounts of creativity. It was also fairly inexpensive. I purchased all of the supplies at Hobby Lobby for $16 total (I already had the spray adhesive and masking tape) and that allowed me to make two wall hangings since the canvases came in a two pack. I had plenty of leftover burlap and mossy mat

Seed Packets Wallpaper
Spring is here. The weather is warming up. The ground is softening. It is time to start thinking about, planning for and preparing my garden! In my area of the country, the general rule is to plant most garden items the weekend after Mother's Day so now is the perfect time to start my seeds indoors. I can hardly wait to have garden fresh vegetables and to enjoy the rewards of my labors! Go to shotbox.me to learn more about the SHOTBOX. Photo shot with SHOTBOX and my Samsung G

Gallifreyan Pen Holder
My youngest son took a Junior High School woodworking class. He enjoyed all of the projects that he made but one project in particular had him extra excited. He would come home from school and tell me about a Dr. Who pen holder that he was making as a birthday present for a friend who was a fellow Dr. Who fan. I could never quite picture what he was talking about when he tried to describe the pen holder so I was pretty excited myself when he finally brought it home. And then

Tulips Cover Photo
Today is a happy day for me...March 1...the day that I officially feel like I have survived the worst of winter. The days are getting longer. The temperatures are getting warmer. The snow is turning to rain. Bulbs are starting to push their way out of the ground. Spring is just around the corner and I can feel it in the air! To celebrate this joyous day, I am excited to share a couple of pictures of some very lovely tulips. The pictures are similar but different and I can't d
