Carrot Art

A couple of days ago we harvested the last of the carrots from our garden. They were such a fun variety of shapes, sizes and colors that I mentioned to my husband that they would make a fun SHOTBOX post. The picture below is what I had in mind. Dump the lot of carrots in the SHOTBOX and take a picture from above. Quick and easy but very artistic in an organic sort of way. My thought was that they would make a fun background or wallpaper. My creative, artistic husband had something else in mind. The above picture is his version of carrot art. Who knew carrots could come to life like that? Unfortunately Carrot Man met his demise tonight as we cooked him up for dinner. He was quite tasty! Thankfully we have some amazing pictures to help us remember our bountiful harvest as well as the fun that can be had with carrots!
