Roses with Different Backdrops

Pink Roses

This is the exact same arrangement of roses, taken with two different backdrops. In the first picture, a piece of vinyl printed to look like wood planks is used as the base with a slate colored piece of vinyl flooring used as the background. Notice how the light is absorbed by the backdrops, bringing out the whites and lighter tones in the pink roses. In the second picture, the white, sling, faux leather backdrop that comes with the SHOTBOX is used as the base and background. Now the light is being reflected by the backdrop and the vibrant pink of the roses is prominent. No color adjustments were made to either image. This is simply how they photographed. It is amazing the difference a backdrop can make!

My name is Jodie and I am a wife and mother of four. I love to bake, craft, travel, exercise, hike and explore new things. I'm excited to use the SHOTBOX to highlight my creations and to show you how this simple tool can bring light and life to your passions too.

The SHOTBOX is a collapsible tabletop studio that uses high powered LEDs to create a perfectly lit “micro-studio” environment. They are now taking pre-orders to be delivered for Christmas.
