Photoshopped Sea Glass Collage

Original Picture Above, Photoshopped Picture Below

Every so often, I take a picture that just doesn't seem to work, even with the perfect lighting and clean background in the SHOTBOX! That was the case with this sea glass collage...or so I though. On the small screen on my phone, the picture looked great! Bright, vibrant colors! Fun patterns and textures! A crisp, clean picture! But when I pulled it up on my computer, I saw shadows that made the glass look a little out of focus. I was so disappointed that I hadn't captured the perfect shot that I had my husband Photoshop out the shadows and you know what? I much prefer the original SHOTBOX photo! The shadows give the white glass some depth and definition. The slight greyish tint of the white background helps the glass pieces look grounded. Does the Photoshopped picture look crisper? Definitely! But which picture do I prefer now that they are side by side? The original! See my story about this Sea Glass Collage under Hobbies, Collecting.
