SHOTBOX Lighting Options

If you look carefully at the pictures above, you can see how changing the lighting options that are available on the SHOTBOX changes the look and feel of the final picture. When you choose to only use the left or the right side lights, that side of the subject is illuminated while the opposite side is slightly darker. There is still plenty of light in the SHOTBOX so that the darker side isn't too shadowy but the illuminated side stands out a bit more. When you use both lights, you get nice lighting from above with the bottom of your subject slightly darker. If you add the front lights on the Side Shot Arm, you illuminate the the front but most noticeably the bottom portion of your subject. The dimmed lights provide a softer look to your photograph. The Glare Reducing Shields (soon to be available) reduce the glare from the right and left top lights and are especially nice when your subject has a reflective surface. So play around with your lighting options to help you create the look and feel that you want and to capture the perfect picture!
