I wasn't planning on doing a SHOTBOX post today but my daughter has her last high school volleyball game of the season tonight and I wanted to create an image to post on Facebook and Instagram to share with my family and friends to invite them out to this final game. Tonight's game is a big deal because our school is playing our biggest competition, the Lone Peak Knights. The Sophomore and JV teams beat Lone Peak at Lone Peak earlier in the season but Varsity lost. Tonight we are hoping that all three teams win and we need all the support and encouragement and cheering fans that we can get! Wanting to created an eye catching announcement, I grabbed my daughter's volleyball and one of her practice T Shirts and stuck them in the SHOTBOX. The resulting image is exactly what I was wanting. It has just the right amount of empty space to add my text. The colors came out great! The layout works. Every so often, things just come together. In times like these, it is helpful to have the right tools on hand for the job and today the right tool was my SHOTBOX!
