Garden Fresh Tomatoes...in November!
We had beautiful, warm fall weather in Northern Utah this year which extended the vegetable growing season all the way into late November! I usually tear out my garden sometime in October because an early frost has most likely already damaged my vegetables but that was not the case this year! I harvested the last of my tomatoes and tomatillos on November 19 and probably could have left them on the vine for a few more days but I didn't want to take any more chances and lose this bounteous harvest! Many of the tomatoes are ripening on my kitchen counter and we are enjoying their sweet, juicy goodness! There is nothing quite as tasty as fruits and vegetables hand picked from my own garden!

Photo shot with SHOTBOX and my Moto Z Force Smartphone.
Below you can see the setup inside the box. I used the center hole of the top shot feature to take the picture so I only needed a base. I went with a piece of charcoal grey vinyl that looks like it could be a countertop and I piled my tomatoes and tomatillos on top of it. I looked at the screen on my phone to see what the photo composition looked like and rearranged and adjusted tomatoes as necessary to fill in many of the gaps and to ensure that the various colors were spread appropriately throughout the shot.
