Valentine's Day Bouquet by EcoFlowers

I am not a big fan of fresh cut flowers. Don't get me wrong...I think they are beautiful and they smell wonderful and they add a nice touch to a home or office or room of any sort. My problem with fresh cut flowers is that they die in just a few short days. I hate spending hard earned money on something that is just going to wither away and leave behind a mess of pollen, dried flower petals and moldy stems! I would much rather enjoy a flower out in it's natural habitat and let it live for as long as possible. So when I happened upon a website that offers realistic looking flowers made out of wood and the company is local to my area, I just had to order an arrangement to see for myself how convincing these flowers really are. I wouldn't say that they fool me into thinking I have fresh cut roses in a can, at least not when I look at them closely but from a distance they look real enough and up close, they are still beautiful. They even come scented and my living room smells like roses at the moment! These are my kind of flowers! I love that I can enjoy them for years to come and I don't have to worry about watering them or keeping them alive! If you are like me and prefer longer lasting beauty, go to EcoFlower.com to find an arrangement to brighten your living space.

Below you can see the setup inside the box. I used wooden floor planks as the base and a piece of pink, patterned wallpaper as the background. I put a paper doily underneath the can of flowers to add a bit of contrast and visual interest. It is nice when the subject (flower can) is already nicely arranged and doesn't need much to accent it's beauty!
