When Anti-Glare Shields Are Not Used To Cut Down The Glare

When I took pictures of these Washi Tape cards, I did not realize that the anti-glare shields were in my SHOTBOX at first. I snapped a few pictures and as I went to change the setup, I noticed that they were attached. I removed the shields, then snapped a few more pictures. When I compared the results, I found that I liked the more muted look of the pictures with the shields. The difference is subtle but is definitely there. I mostly notice the difference in the blue of the background and the pink tape and flower. I like that the blue looks a bit more like denim with the shields on and the pinks are not quite as vibrant. In this instance the softer, shielded light brought out the truer colors in the cards. It is nice to be able to change the lighting options to create the results that I want!

Below you can see the setup inside the box. Apparently I am going through a phase where I am loving the grey vinyl tile as my base. I like the texture of it, the tones, and the fact that it goes well with just about everything! I used a blue textured SB Prints panel from the Grunge collection for the background.
